The bike service shop is open year round and 7 days a week to ensure that your bike is serviced quickly and efficiently. We also have a full line of bike parts for sale. Many items are stock however should your required part need to be ordered . Free package: Unlimited free adjustments within one year after purchase of any Sportwheels bike. This includes: Brakes, Shifting, Minor rim truing, All cone adjustments, Chain lube, Rim Cleaning, Air pressure, and general complete safety check and recommendations. Express Tune-Up: $30.00 Includes: 38 point inspection & adjustment, adjust brakes, shifting, lube chain, air in tires, tighten all nuts and bolts and complete safety check (SKU-SP1) Tune-Up: $60.00 Includes: 54 point inspection & adjustment, adjust brakes, shifting, lube chain, air in tires, true wheels, adjust hubs, clean & polish frame, tighten all nuts and bolts and complete safety check (SKU-SP2) Major Tune-up: $85.00 Includes: 60 point inspection & adjustment , adjust brakes, shifting, lube chain, air in tires, repack hubs fresh grease, repack bottom bracket with fresh grease, clean and polish frame, tighten all nuts and bolts and complete safety check(SKU-SP3) Drive Train Cleaning & Flush: $45.00 Includes: 35 point inspection & adjustment, removal, cleaning and reassembly of chain, gears, derailleurs. All parts cleaned in solvent parts washer, lubed and re-assembled (SKU-SP5) Pro Tune-up: $110.00 Includes: 60 point inspection & adjustment, adjust brakes, shifting, lube chain, air in tires, repack hubs fresh grease, repack bottom bracket, clean and polish frame, remove and clean drive train, tighten all nuts and bolts and complete safety check (SKU-SP4) Please call in advance for wait time and pricing on all repair or service work. Work is priced by the Service Centre mechanics at the time work is brought into the store. <h3>Skate Sharpening</h3> Done by hand the right way—(no automatic machines here!) Custom cuts, recreational, figure skates…..the best sharpeners anywhere !! Consistency is the key to good skate sharpening. Skate blades which have been neglected or poorly maintained are harder to sharpen and don’t perform well on the ice. Clean strong edges improve control and a skaters confidence in the blades. If the blades are of poor quality steel or have been overheated by bad sharpening, the blade edges are considered to be weak. Weak edges are more prone to roll or snap off because they are brittle. Some sharpeners try to compensate this problem by sharpening with a deeper hollow, but this only compounds the problem.
