HINGEFLEX TECHNOLOGY: Plated Hinge Joint located in the upper heel which allows for up to 22 degrees of flex when engaged.
Konekt HF2 follows the same unique design originally introduced in the Konekts. The skate consists of a two piece design, an Anaform customizable thermoform shell and a foam liner featuring an Ultralon ankle cuff. Both pieces are heat-moldable to offer the most personalized fit you can get.
The HF2’s feature the same unique buckle strapping system from the original Konekts. Bauer has tweaked the design based on feedback from both amateur goalies and their NHL players to improve the durability and ease of using the design.
The back of the skate has Bauer’s HingeFlex system. This design allows the ankle and top of the foot to flex up to 22 degrees forward to keep the skate in contact with the foot and leg when leaning forward in your stance. What does this mean for you? Less wasted energy and more powerful pushes across the crease!
Bauer has used the tried and true Vertexx Edge holder paired with a LS3G+ 3mm stainless steel runner to offer both an elevated blade height for easier cross-crease pushes and simple, fast blade changes.
