The AW28 is made for Austin Wells of New York and has subtle nods to one of NYC's most famous pieces of architectutre.

The backing is crafted using Super SnakeSkin which is a man-made material that is actually stronger, lighter-weight and easier to break-in when compared to regular leather. And that material is adorned with "seafoam" color that is reminiscent of the faded color of New York's Statue of Liberty.

In regard to its function behind the plate, this mitt will be perfect as the 34" circumference will allow it to set a large target. And as a cool piece of new technology, it has Wilson's Extended Finger Pad that drops down into the hand stall of the mitt and creates an extra layer of padding between the catcher's index finger and the inner palm lining of the mitt.
