This is a replacement pair of Avid Metallic Disc Brake Pads for Juicy or BB7 disc brakes. Metal Scintered pad with Steel backing plate.  Metallic brake pads work better for long sustained braking and perform under wet conditions better than Resin pads.  Resin is generally a quieter option giving more bite on initial braking but not optimal for sustained heavy braking such as downhill or long road bike descents.
