Sportwheels has been helping families stay active since 1947. Our mission @ Sportwheels is to increase the participation of children in organized sports. To reach this goal, we give a large portion of our net profits back into the communities of Nova Scotia to help disadvantaged and at risk youth register and participate in recreational sports like Hockey, Ringette, Lacrosse, Baseball, Volleyball, Cycling. We work with non-profit groups such as the IWK, Salvation Army, Schools Plus, Adsum for Women & Children, Family SOS, and many others. These groups along with many coaches and CSO's help us choose families in need of financial assistance.
This Giving Forward model gives youth the opportunity to participate in the sports we all love. Together we are helping over 150 families in need each year. Every purchase at Sportwheels helps contribute to this program by providing equipment and registration for local children in need. In addition, we do have a small budget for youth Team and Organization fundraising events. We believe that business has a responsibility to give back to our community and we are happy to help organizations that have supported us over the years. We do not have the resources to support every worthy cause or organization who applies. However we will do best to review and approve requests that are submitted via our donation format below.
Requirements for Donation Request:
You will need an official donation letter - PDF format.
The donation letter must include the name of your non-profit organization, team or club name, where fundraising dollars will be spent.

Please allow 7-10 business days for review. If approved we are happy to provide a $20.00 Sportwheels Gift Voucher (Gift Card) for auction or prize giveaways. If approved we will contact you to pick up your donation.
