The Eliminator Grid Trail T7 TLR Soil Searching Trail Tire was developed to be a rugged, high performance tire that is designed to inspire riders to aggressively attack technical trails. These tires utilize Specialized's Grid Trail casing with a bead-to-bead protective layer to fight off abrasions, cuts, and punctures from the trail while keeping the ride quality supple and the tire weight respectable, perfect for an all purpose trail tire where a rider will be pedaling uphill as well as attacking the downhills. In addition, these tires can be set up tubeless thanks to the high tensile strength 2Bliss Ready folding bead, which will allow for lower tire pressures to be used for better traction, smoother ride quality, and even better flat prevention.

To cap the Grid Trail casing, Specialized chose chose their Gripton T7 compound to create a tread surface with an ideal balance of durability, low rolling resistance, speed, and traction. As for the tread pattern, it has been optimized for looser terrain. The center of the tire utilizes numerous large tread blocks with squared off edges and siping for an uncanny ability to bite deep into the trail and hang on for dear life. When it is time to turn, the shoulder knobs feature a unique block-in-block design that will create a predictable transition as the bike is leaned into the corners, and when fully onto the outer shoulder knobs, the stiffness of the shoulder knobs and multiple biting edges will latch onto the terrain for the confidence to fully send it down the trail. Finally, these tubeless ready tires are safe to use on hookless rims and can be run with tire inserts for even more protection against impacts and pinch flats. Simply add tire sealant, install inserts if desired, set the tire pressure, and get ready to blast down the trail faster than ever before.
